About Us

Our motivation

         The idea for this topic at the beginning came from the bread we often eat for breakfast. It is a very common thing to go to the bakery the night before school and buy our breakfast for the next day. However, under our observation, we noticed that the bread Stores always have a lot of employees, especially chain bakeries, which always require a lot of people and spend a lot of time at the checkout. Not only that, but using plastic bags for each loaf of bread is also very unenvironmentally friendly.

            一開始會有這個題目的構想,是源自於我們常吃的早餐麵包,上學前一晚到麵包店購買我們隔天的早餐,是一件很平常的事情,但在我們的觀察下,注意到麵包店總是需要很多員工,尤其是連鎖的麵包店,總是人很多,又花很多時間在結帳,不只這樣,每一個麵包都使用塑膠袋也非常不環保。

Investigation

         Driven by curiosity, we conducted an investigation and found that these are also headaches for bakeries. Moreover, because they use plastic bags, they cannot be packaged when they are freshly baked and are most delicious, so they can only sell them. Cold bread. Not only that, due to the problem of contamination and the inability to use barcodes, bakeries will have problems with missing accounts almost every time.

           在好奇心的驅使下,我們進行了調查,發現這些也都是讓麵包店們很頭痛的問題,而且因為是用塑膠袋,沒辦法在剛出爐最好吃的時候包裝起來,因此只能賣冷的麵包。還不只這樣,由於會有污染的問題,不能使用條碼,麵包店幾乎每次都會有漏帳的問題。

Idea

          After understanding these problems, we began to wonder if there was something that could solve them. It just so happens that we are learning AI recognition, and the function of replacing human visual recognition is exactly what we need. Therefore, combined with AI, we designed an AI checkout system to solve these problems.

         在了解了這些問題之後,我們開始想,有什麼東西能解決。剛好我們在學習AI辨識,代替人類視覺辨識的功能正是我們需要的,因此結合AI,設計了AI結帳系統,來解決這些問題。
